With an expanded menu, more spacious setting, and a lovely veranda, Wild Honey’s new branch at Scotts Square takes everything we loved about their first outlet, and turns it up a notch. There’s something inherently charming about the new space. Bay windows run along two of the restaurants four walls, and dark wooden furniture is given a chirpy finish by bright cushions; together it makes the restaurant cosy, homey yet tres chic all at the same time.
For the menu, breakfast dishes are named after the region they embody, giving you a refreshing context to the flavours tickling your palate. Ranging from the I Love New York, a platter of scrambled eggs, smoked sturgeon, and a toasted bagel served with cream cheese, to the English, a full English breakfast of eggs, pork sausage, sautéed mushrooms, baked beans, bacon, brioche and vine ripened tomato, you can do a culinary tour of the world right from the lush comfortable armchairs of the restaurant. For the Scotts Square menu, crowd favourites like the European, Scandinavian, and the Tunisian all make a return, with some exciting new additions. One of the new dishes that really caught our eye was the Caribbean: a tantalising coconut waffle creation.
If you’re into a boozy brunch, or liquored lunch, or drunken dinner, Wild Honey’s got you covered. In addition to the excellent food options, Wild Honey also has a mouth-watering selection of cocktails that you’ll be hard-pressed to find anywhere else.
"The 'Tunisian' was a lovely pan of sunny-side-up eggs lounging in a tomato stew that was punched through with chorizo – it felt so comforting to mop up the molten yolk with the brioche." -Time Out Singapore
"Hungover and all you can think about is a steaming plate of eggs? Time to make tracks to Wild Honey." -CNNGo.com
"The smoked salmon oozed flavor, had the right texture and thickness and was Fresh (capital 'F' intentional); the sautéed field mushrooms were amazing - juicy, nicely seasoned and downright tasty (and this reviewer hates mushrooms!). Ditto the grilled tomatoes." -I-S Asia-City
With such a diverse range of breakfast dishes on the menu, there really is something for everyone at Wild Honey. There’re some dishes that really stand out for us however, and that’s the European, Scandinavian and the Tunisian.
The European is Wild Honey’s take on eggs Benedict, and it is an excellent rendition of the breakfast classic. The expected poached eggs and prosciutto are jazzed up with sautéed mushrooms and rest upon their excellent homemade brioche, delicately coated with hollandaise sauce.
If a cast-iron skillet filled with red pepper, onion and tomato stew studded with sliced spicy chorizo and two runny eggs sounds like something you’d love, then the Tunisian’s for you. The fragrant scarlet stew is given a solid punch with the chorizo, and goes perfectly the fluffy homemade brioche that comes with it.
For those who like salmon, the Scandinavian’s grilled fresh Norwegian salmon is definitely a winner. What we remembered most however, were the rosti potatoes. Lightly crispy and infused with buttery goodness, they nearly stole the show.
Regardless of what you choose though, it’s hard to go wrong at Wild Honey. The food is excellent, the ambience cosy and comfortable. All day breakfast has never been sweeter.

"Two years after opening at Mandarin Gallery, the packed all-day-breakfast restaurant has expanded. Apart from the spaciousness, this third-floor sibling has an open-air brunch area. Tarts, jams and yoghurts are still home-made, and signature dishes – European, English, Tunisian – have been brought over. More thought was put into the drinks: mixologists Alfred & Rhubarb create beverages ($6++ to $18++) with fresh juices, cordials and, of course, wild honey."
