The Privé experience begins not just when you arrive at the restaurant, but as you make your way there. As you cross over the bridge to Keppel Island, take in the sights of luxurious condominiums shaped like sails with floor-to-ceiling windows that gracefully reflect the dark blue waters. Palm trees line the walkway while you stroll towards the restaurant, much like the coastal promenades of Europe.
Upon arrival, continue to bask in the luxury of the restaurant’s premises. Bay windows afford fantastic views of the Marina, be it the sparkling waters or the twinkling lights from the distant cables cars. Warm wood panelling and cosy lighting complete the breathtaking ambience.
Privé Restaurant marries style and substance beautifully and effortlessly. The restaurant boasts the first Josper Grill in Singapore. To the uninitiated, the Josper Grill is the hottest indoor grill-oven in recent history. Featuring a closed door, it maintains the full flavours and moisture of any food, be it meat, seafood or vegetables. The restaurant boasts two menus, one dedicated to items off the Josper Grill, and the other for appetisers, non-grill mains and desserts. Whichever menu you choose from, you certainly won’t be disappointed.
Stars of the grill menu include the Rib-eye Cap and the Double Rib Lamb Rack. Don’t underestimate the non-grill menu though, the French Young Quail and Pan-Roasted White Cod are both excellent choices. Lastly, don’t get caught up in the mouth-watering range of starters and mains, because you won’t regret choosing one (or more!) of their excellent desserts.

When the Chope Team feels like getting away from the daily grind, we head out to this southern island off Marina Keppel Bay and relax by the water, look out for our dream yacht, and enjoy the sounds of the gentle waves lapping against the walkway. The views here are simply spectacular. No high rise buildings to obstruct your view or the constant sound of engines spoiling the tranquillity. Here, the only things you'll hear are the soothing sounds of ocean waves and the quiet laughter of delighted diners.
The Josper Grill is the Rolls-Royce of grills and anything off this special menu is more than worth a try. The rib-eye cap is one of the best steaks we’ve had in Singapore and you can’t go wrong with the Kurobuta pork. For dessert, Privé boasts an award winning cheesecake and tiramisu which we highly recommend you leave room for. What we really adore, however, is the Privé dessert platter. As you all know by now, the Chope Team loves our desserts so choosing just one is always such an agonising process. Being able to get all of them in treat-sized portions is definitely the winning solution.
An inside tip for our Chope users: the set lunch (from $32++ for 2 courses and $35++ for 3 courses) is a fantastic deal, which you can enjoy al fresco while the sun sparkles off the crystal waters. So if you’re looking to pamper yourself at lunch time with a quick getaway, this is the place to be.
