As you’d expect with a Miami style diner/bar/club, the alcohol selection at Lucky 13 isn’t something to overlook. Signature drinks include a cinnamon grapefruit Old-Fashioned. Brown spirits not to your liking? Consider the mixed berry Caipiroska or the Havana Club Caipirissima. With draft beers at $10 or less from 6pm till 10pm, there’s something for everyone!
Chope’s never going to forget about the food, and at Lucky 13 you’d curse yourself if you did. Whether you’re going for bar snacks or a hearty dinner, you won’t be disappointed. The menu has numerous interesting Cuban choices, such as the “Medianoche” pressed Cuban sandwich or the grilled Achiote chicken with spice marinated beans. Less exotic but no less delicious options include the quesadillas (available filled with mushrooms, chicken, steak, or shrimp), the grilled Mahi-Mahi fish tacos, or Chef Frank’s Miami burger with chipotle onion relish.
Regardless of what you choose though, do try items under their ‘bar food’ selection. Cuban Mojo chicken drumlets, baked egg with Monterey Jack cheese and grilled mushrooms, and even the garlic rosemary fries with roasted house-made ketchup are all excellent as starters, or accompaniments to your main.

"This TripleOne Somerset restaurant-cum-club has a Miami party vibe to go with the Cuban-style bar food: think Cuban ‘midnight’ sandwiches, grilled Mahi-mahi tacos with chipotle-spiced pico de gallo (both $18) and shredded beef with black beans and rice ($22)." -Time Out Singapore
"Among their respectable selection of beers ($13-16), wines (from $13 a glass and $65 a bottle) and spirits ($13-27 a glass) are a few unusual but no less enticing drops like Kraken Black Spiced Rum from Trinidad and Tobago and Basil Hayden 8YO Bourbon. Signature cocktails ($15-22) include two intriguing takes on the Old Fashioned (cinnamon grapefruit and bacon-infused), the pisco sour clasico and a mixed berry caipiroska." -I-S Asia-City
"This is the kind of place that segues effortlessly from restaurant to bar to club. Michel lu's latest foray is a well-planned Miami-style restaurant in the city." -TODAY
Lucky 13's got a winning formula. Excellent food, a good variety of drinks, and best of all, a happy hour that lasts till 10pm. As Team Chope can attest to, nothing beats ending a long work day like sitting down to a generous helping of Lucky 13's Cuban Mojo drumlets, some of their divine croquetas, and washing it all down with a pint of Erdinger!
We can't say enough about those Cuban Mojo drumlets, crispy yet coated in an incredibly unique sauce, they blend hints of peppery hotness with sweetness as well as an exotic mix of spices. We loved them so much, we ordered a second round after polishing off the first in record time! As we mentioned, the croquetas (potato croquettes with ham and cheese) were also a big hit. Luciously creamy yet crisp on the outside, they were a great counter balance to the punch from the Mojo drumlets.
Our last tip is to definitely try the veal tongue sandwich. The meat is melt in your mouth, the bread light and fluffy - more akin to brioche than anything else and served with some horseradish cream on the side. We were tempted to order a second round of this as well, but after two rounds of drumlets, a pint of beer each, croquetas, and our individual mains, we had to surrender to the inevitable food coma. Fortuitously though, that also means that we've got plenty of reason to go back!
