L'Operetta's menu is both simple and innovative, offering Italian standards, like tagliolini al ragu bolognese, as well as creative fare, like the spaghetti con bottarga (salted fish roe) e yuzu (Japanese citrus fruit). With its imported legendary Vera wood-fired pizza oven, L'Operetta creates seriously delicious pizzas with a variety of toppings – everything from a simple margherita pizza to the scrumptious bismarc pizza (prosciutto, rucola, and poached egg).
ABOUT
THE BUZZ
WHAT WE LOVE
TIME OUT
Sitting quietly among the bustling shops, pubs, and restaurants of historic Boat Quay is L'Operetta, an Italian fine dining concept founded by a team of Japanese restaurateurs, including Italian-trained executive chef Seita Nakahara. L'Operetta's dining room evokes both tranquillity and opulence. From the all-white bar to the white quilted seats, the décor is saturated in the colour white except for the occasional mural painting, which punctuates the soothing dining room with a splash of colour.
