2am:dessertbar is like home "sweet" home for dessert-lovers. With sexy desserts that taste as good as they look, this modern dessert concept has won critical acclaim thanks to chef and owner Janice Wong’s innovative approach to texture, flavour, and visual aesthetics.

Named after its closing time of 2am, the restaurant’s chic décor features luxurious white sofas lining the windows and modern bar seats arcing through the middle of the restaurant. Perhaps the most striking feature of the décor, is the bar, which runs the entire length of the restaurant and also where you’ll see chef Wong’s busy team of pastry chefs in their sharp black chefs’ jackets magically transforming simple ingredients into edible art.

Of course the highlight of any visit here are the desserts, and with the menu being changed ever so often, there is always a new adventure for your taste buds. Classics like Warm Chocolate Tart served with Blood Orange Sorbet is a longstanding crowd favourite, returning by popular demand after a brief absence from the menu. The Twix is yet another stalwart, where burnt caramel mousse, peanut crumble, and homemade Valrhona chocolate ice cream invokes flavours and textures reminiscent of the popular chocolate bar.
