Another must try is the Roasted Black Free-Range Roast Chicken (prepared tableside!), roasted with truffle slices under its skin, giving it’s blackish bruised appearance. Start out with your choice of warm olive or tomato basil bread. Served with butter, the bread is moist and fresh from the oven. For starters, you have to try the Wagyu Carpaccio, with generous slices of truffle, lighted sprinkled with Parmesan cheese, and balsamic pearls which provide an added crunch and burst of flavor. For those in the know, feel free to order the beef tartare (not on the menu), which is a deconstructed beef tartare with the accompaniments on the side, allowing you to mix a combination to your liking. The Chilled Crab Cocktail is refreshing and light, with four layers of flavours including a topping of smoked herring caviar.

The White Rabbit’s Beef Cheek Bourguignon is a Chope team favourite! Slow cooked than roasted to retain its moisture, the beef cheek is tender and flavourful. We love how White Rabbit dresses up this comfort classic with crispy bacon, roasted root vegetables, and mousseline potatoes. For something lighter, the Grilled Atlantic Cod with fava beans and sauce vierge is a good choice, with delicate flavors balancing well with the cod.

For dessert, aside from the soufflé, you can’t go wrong with the perennial favourite: Creme brûlée. Served with mixed berries with a thin crisp layer, this is the epitome of crème brûlées! Another Chope favourite is the Baked Alaska, flambéed at your table! A very thin sponge cake soaks up the Grand Marnier while vanilla bean ice cream is enshrouded in a light meringue crust.
