THE BUZZ
WHAT WE LOVE
The Privé group has done once again. Privé Grill, rebranded and revamped, took everything great about its predecessor Privé restaurant and made it better. The restaurant’s bay windows are now of completely clear glass, the lighting brighter, the furniture just as comfortable and all that more chic. Try and dine just at sunset so you can watch the red sky reflect of the waves, and later, the twinkle of lights bring the gently rolling waves of the marina to star-like life. There’s a chic tranquillity to the newest addtion to the Privé stable, and we’re definite fans.

The Josper Grill is still very much the star of the show here (the name should have been a big clue), and there’re even more grill options than before. The unbelievable tender and flavourful Angus rib-eye cap returns to the menu, and is still, in our not-so-humble and fairly informed opinion, one of the best steaks in Singapore. The items off the non-grill ‘Main Plates’ menu are also top-class, with the Josper-grilled Squid a delectable combination of crab, citrus curd, purple potato mash, and squid ink air.

Overall, Privé Grill offers up an excellent range of food, whether you pick from their Josper Grill, starters, main plates or dessert menus. The team here makes it a point to ensure that regardless of what you pick, you won’t be disappointed, and it’s impressive that they’ve taken their spin on waterfront dining to an even higher level.
