Our Korner, part of The Scarlet Hotel, is situated in a beautifully restored row of shophouses, harkening back to the days of when Singapore was a much different place. Similarly, the cuisine from Our Korner fuses Singapore’s heritage flavours with a western twist, with neither side overwhelming the other. So sit back and reminisce with friends while enjoying one of the many drinks found on Our Korner’s extensive drink menu.

Don't let those delicious drinks distract you from the equally tantalizing food though! Start with some Spicy Garlic Prawns or their signature Laksa Clam Chowder before sharing some Curry Chicken Pizza or their equally mouth-watering Chili Crab Sliders. The vibe at Our Korner is intimate and laid-back, creating an atmosphere for easy laughter with friends while enjoying cheerful drinks and scrumptious meals. We appreciate the charming details at Our Korner with hexagon patterned glasses resting on a bitten blue hexagon coaster.

One of our must-try bites are the Chili Crab Sliders with the ever-so tasty signature Singapore chili crab sauce. We fought over the last slider but made peace once we started on our Laksa Clam Chowder. The focaccia bread bowl that it was served in was so delicious that we were in danger of finishing it before we were even done with the soup, which made for a pretty messy ending!

We’re also huge fans of the $5 house pours and $10 big pints during the daily happy hours from 5:00pm to 8:00pm! We’d love to spend the entire day in Our Korner with a drink in hand and a never-ending supply of Chili Crab Sliders. Unfortunately, we're pretty sure our bosses would object. (Jun 2012)
