WHAT WE LOVE
TIME OUT
Modern and chic are just two words to describe La Cicala, a Spanish gastro lounge that is a newcomer to the already-bustling gastro bar scene in Singapore. Between its impressive stainless steel and black mosaic-tiled open kitchen and its full height custom-designed wine cellar, you might need a moment to take in the beauty of the place before being led to a seat below the dramatic flying ceilings in the dining area. Don't worry, the food is equally impressive, as you'll soon find out.

Despite its contemporary design, La Cicala serves food that is anchored in traditional Spanish gastronomy and inspired by an avant-garde Japanese grilling method. Diners are invited to sit at the open kitchen where they can interact with the chefs, who are more than happy to share their special cooking methods, such as their exclusive white bamboo charcoal that they use to impart a unique smokiness to their dishes.
