Inside the historical art deco structure of The Fullerton Waterboat House lies Boathouse, a contemporary restaurant serving modern European fare made with only the freshest seasonal ingredients. It seems as though no detail was spared in the decoration of Boathouse, which features a spacious interior of soft, natural woods and soothing whites accented by elegant historical pieces and artwork. Signature dishes include the fish chowder with sea bass carpaccio and braised Wagyu beef ribs, both served alongside fresh bread, baked in-house daily. (Aug 2011)
"For the ambience, it’s hard to beat a 1919 colonial Art Deco building located right on the river." -Expat Living Magazine
"The Boathouse serves up a convivial atmosphere, with the gentle hubbub of chatter acting as the perfect soundtrack to a relaxed setting." -Asia Tatler Dining
We love the romantic ambiance of Boathouse’s dining room, which features beautiful French windows that frame breathtaking views of the Singapore waterfront. We’d suggest heading upstairs to Prelude, the rooftop bar, for pre-dinner drinks. Consider ordering the Petite Ravioli, an ensemble of delicate pieces of homemade pasta, each filled with pieces of tender lobster, served in a richly flavored lobster consomme. (Aug 2011)

"This second-floor restaurant harboured in a 1919-built art-deco edifice sits illusorily moored by the water across from The Fullerton Hotel. The natural wood furniture, greyish-blue palette and historical black-and-white photos that hang on the wall are hip juxtapositions to the seasonal, modern European menu. Signature dishes include fish chowder with sea bass carpaccio and braised Wagyu beef ribs."
